ENTRY FORMS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
All completed Entry Forms and Parental Agreement Forms should be turned into the student's science and technology teacher at his or her school. All home school students should contact and coordinate entries with Home School Coordinator, Paula Edwards at 936-824-3059 or email dove972@yahoo.com.
The 11th Annual Angelina County Science & Tech Fair is an annual event that allows 6th-12th graders to compete in science and technology-related competitions. The event is a project of the Leadership Lufkin class and relies on sponsors and volunteers to be successful.
This year’s competitions include the following. Click each one for the problem rules and scoring rubrics:
IMPORTANT DATES:
April 18, 2008: Deadline for teachers to submit all entry forms to the Chamber of Commerce.
May 6, 2008: All projects must be checked in at the George H. Henderson, Jr. Exposition Center (2:30 p.m.—6:30 p.m.)
May 7, 2008: Angelina County Science & Tech Fair Competition
By attending or participating in this Fair, you are giving the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce permission to use any likeness or photography taken during any part of this event for publicity purposes.
