LUFKIN, TEXAS (July 13, 2011)…The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce will once again recognize the area’s finest small businesses on September 2nd during the 13^th Annual Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon.  This luncheon is the community’s way of honoring the important role that small business plays in the American free enterprise system.

The public is encouraged to submit nominations by 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011.  Good candidates for consideration are any businesses you respect and admire.  The committee will look at businesses that exhibit exemplary entrepreneurial spirit, skill, productivity, customer service, or have made important contributions to the community.
