Angelina County is located in the Texas Forest Country region of northeast Texas, on US highways 59 and 69, northeast of Houston.

Lufkin, the county seat and largest town, is 96 miles northwest of Beaumont and 90 miles northeast of Houston. The county is bounded on the north by the Angelina River and on the south by the Neches River. Angelina County is also the 41st largest county in Texas.

Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Lufkin Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) is our community's way to attract and serve visitors and residents. Our offices are located at 1615 S. Chestnut Street inside the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce.

The Lufkin Convention & Visitors Bureau is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed on the weekends. You can reach us by phone at (936) 634-6305 or toll free at 800-409-5659.
