J.D.’s Center of Hope will host its annual Center of Hope Banquet on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., bringing the community together for an evening of inspiration and support featuring keynote speaker Joni Taylor, head women’s basketball coach at Texas A&M University.

The banquet will take place at 1204 Cain Street in Lufkin and will include dinner and a silent auction. Guests are invited to enjoy an inspiring evening while supporting the important work and mission of J.D.’s Center of Hope.

Taylor brings an impressive background in leadership, athletics and mentorship to the event. As head coach of the Texas A&M women’s basketball program, she is known not only for her accomplishments on the court, but also for her commitment to developing and empowering young women.

Tickets are $45 per person, with tables of eight available for $500. Business casual attire is suggested.
