This election includes a key local judicial runoff race that will determine who serves as the next judge of the 217th District Court in Angelina County.

WHAT'S ON THE BALLOT

217TH DISTRICT COURT JUDGE RUNOFF

Republican voters will decide the runoff election between:

• Kristi Skillern
• Stephen Walker

The 217th District Court handles felony criminal cases in Angelina County. Current Judge Bob Inselmann is not seeking reelection.

Because no Democratic candidate filed for the position, the winner of this runoff election will take office in January.
