CHAMBER DAY IN AUSTIN

The Candidate Forum is a great way for the public to become educated about local political races and candidates. Candidates will have an opportunity to share their beliefs and reasons why they should be selected and will be asked general questions as well as selected questions submitted by the community.

The Chamber organizes an annual gathering, known as Chamber Day in Austin, where a significant group of Investors convene in Austin. During this event, a reception is hosted, providing Investors with the chance to engage directly with elected officials and discuss key issues relevant to the business community.

In recent years, the Chamber has collaborated with the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce to enhance lobbying efforts at the state capital in mid-February. The detailed itinerary will be available once it is finalized.

The Elected Officials Reception convenes local, state, and national leaders with the local business community each fall. The event provides local entrepreneurs and business owners direct access to influential leaders and decision-makers.
