Cheers with the Chamber Spotlights Christian Information & Service Center
Month, Date, Year
This month's Cheers with the Chamber gave Chamber Investors the chance to spend the evening with the team from the Christian Information & Service Center (CISC) and learn more about the work they do every day to serve individuals and families throughout Angelina County.
During the event, CISC shared more about its mission, the services it provides, and how community support allows the organization to meet real needs. From emergency assistance to connecting people with local resources, CISC has been helping neighbors through difficult times for many years.
Guests also received a preview of something new for the organization: its first-ever fundraiser, From Punchlines to Pantries: Serving Full Plates & Funny Takes, coming to the Pitser Garrison Convention Center on Sunday, September 13.
The evening will feature nationally known comedian Marcus D. Wiley, with JJ Olson of JJO Radio serving as host. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., the show begins at 6:00 p.m., and tickets are $50. Every ticket purchased helps support CISC's work right here in our community.
One of the best parts of Cheers with the Chamber is learning more about the organizations and businesses that make Angelina County stronger. Thank you to the Christian Information & Service Center for hosting a great evening and for sharing the impact your organization is making every day.
If you're looking for a fun night out while supporting a great cause, be sure to mark your calendar for From Punchlines to Pantries on September 13. It promises to be an evening of laughter with a purpose.
Tickets can be purchased online HERE.
