Dinner at the Diamond Returns to Support Angelina College Students
August 17, 2026
The Angelina College Foundation is bringing Dinner at the Diamond back to Poland Field on Saturday, September 26, for an evening that brings together great food, live entertainment and community support, all with one goal: investing in Angelina College students.
Now in its seventh year, Dinner at the Diamond has become an important fundraiser for the Angelina College Foundation. Last year, more than 750 community members attended and helped raise more than $100,000. Those funds support educational resources, workforce training opportunities and student services that help remove barriers for students working toward their goals.
An Evening Under the Lights
This year's event will take place from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at Poland Field at Angelina College and will feature a live performance by Donice Morace, along with dinner, drinks, games and live and silent auctions. Guests can keep it casual and enjoy an evening under the lights while supporting student success right here in our community. Attendees must be 21 or older.
Individual tickets are $100, with reserved tables of eight available for $800.
Supporting Students and Strengthening Our Community
The impact of Angelina College reaches well beyond the classroom. As the only public two-year college serving a 15-county region in Southeast Texas, the college plays an important role in preparing the local workforce and creating opportunities for students and families. An independent study by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts found that Angelina College generates a $57.5 million economic impact across the region each year.
Dinner at the Diamond gives local businesses and community members another way to be part of that impact.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $1,250 to $7,500, with benefits that vary by level and include event tickets, reserved seating, recognition, signage and promotional opportunities. The final sponsorship deadline is August 21, 2026.
Those who are unable to attend can still support Angelina College students through contributions to programs including the HELP Fund, Roadrunner Market, Meningitis Initiative, Alumni Association or the Foundation's general fund.
