ArtFull Saturday Brings a Full Day of Creativity to Downtown Lufkin

Downtown Lufkin is set to come alive with color, music, and community connection on Saturday, April 18, as ArtFull Saturday returns with a full day of immersive experiences for all ages.

Designed to celebrate the creative spirit of East Texas, ArtFull Saturday brings together local artists, businesses, and residents for a dynamic, come-and-go event that highlights the heart of our downtown.

Start the Day: Mimosas & Masterpieces

The morning begins with Mimosas & Masterpieces, a curated art experience that invites guests to slow down and engage with creativity in a more intimate setting. Attendees can enjoy a spotlight artist feature, participate in a guided hands-on art project, and browse a silent auction showcasing original works.

Midday: Downtown Art Walk

From 11 AM to 3 PM, Downtown Lufkin transforms into an interactive gallery during the Art Walk. Local businesses open their doors to host artists, offering visitors the chance to:

  • Meet artists from across the region
  • Watch live demonstrations
  • Explore and purchase original artwork

This walkable experience creates a unique opportunity to connect directly with the creative community while supporting local businesses.

Evening: Roots & Rhythm at Cotton Square

The celebration continues into the evening with Roots & Rhythm, a hometown concert at Cotton Square featuring a lineup of local and regional musicians. It’s the perfect way to unwind, gather with friends, and enjoy live music in the heart of downtown.

A Celebration of Community

ArtFull Saturday was created with a simple but powerful purpose: to bring people together through creativity. By connecting artists, businesses, and the community, this event showcases the vibrancy and talent that make Lufkin special.

Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a supporter of local businesses, or simply looking for a fun way to spend the day, ArtFull Saturday offers something for everyone.
