July 29, 2026

The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce is excited to officially welcome Leadership Lufkin Class #44 as they begin a year-long journey of leadership development, community engagement, and personal growth.

The year kicked off with an incredible evening as alumni, community leaders, and this year's class gathered for the Leadership Lufkin Alumni Summer Social, followed by the Leadership Lufkin Welcome Reception. The event was a wonderful reminder of the lasting relationships and strong network that make Leadership Lufkin such a meaningful experience.

We are especially grateful to Corrigan OSB, LLC/RoyOMartin, the presenting sponsor of Leadership Lufkin Class #44. Their continued investment in developing future leaders helps ensure our community remains strong for years to come.

Throughout the next ten months, Class #44 will participate in immersive monthly sessions focused on topics that shape Angelina County, including education, healthcare, economic development, local government, public safety, workforce, quality of life, and more. Along the way, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our region while building lasting relationships with fellow leaders across a variety of industries.
