Military Connected Small Business Accelerator Now Accepting Applications for Q3 2026

Veterans and military spouses across Texas have a powerful opportunity to take their business to the next level through the Military Connected Small Business Accelerator, a program designed to provide the tools, funding, and support needed for long-term success.

Offered by PeopleFund, this program is built to create meaningful economic opportunity while helping entrepreneurs strengthen, grow, and sustain their businesses.

What the Program Offers

Participants selected for the accelerator will engage in an 8-week cohort experience running June 3 through August 14, 2026, with a combination of virtual training, hands-on assignments, and personalized support.

Throughout the program, participants will gain access to:

  • Business coaching and mentorship
  • LivePlan business planning software
  • An online curriculum and learning platform
  • Financial guidance and loan application support
  • Networking opportunities with fellow entrepreneurs

Graduates who successfully complete the program and close on a PeopleFund loan may also be eligible to receive a grant between $3,000 and $5,000 to support their business.

Built for Real-World Business Growth

This accelerator is designed with real-life entrepreneurs in mind. From refining business strategy to strengthening financial readiness, the program focuses on practical, actionable steps that help participants move forward with clarity and confidence.

One past participant shared:

“I left the program more confident, better organized, and equipped with tools I can keep using as I build what’s next.”
— Dr. LaRachelle Smith, Managing Director, Table SALT Group LLC

Who Should Apply

The program is open to Veterans and Military Spouses in Texas, including both startup and existing business owners.

To qualify, applicants must meet eligibility requirements, including:

  • Residency in the State of Texas
  • Demonstration of low to moderate-income eligibility (based on business location, household, or individual criteria)
  • Ability to meet lending and credit qualifications
  • Commitment to completing program requirements

Spots are limited and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is encouraged.
